#222 Analysis of Romans  (Instr: Professor R. White)    Monday  7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This course focuses on how to teach Paul’s Epistle to the Romans concerning living the transformational life. Topics include teaching to change lives, the text-driven preaching process, sin, salvation, sanctification, theology, developing a biblical worldview, and character development. Deals with the historical situation, date, themes, and argument of the epistle with emphasis on applications for living the Christian life. Students will create charts and applications for transformational discipleship and leadership.

 

#224 Teaching to Change Lives (Instr: Professor M. Bradford)   Monday  7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This course focuses on how to teach using methods that result in life change. Topics include teaching to change lives, the expository text-driven preaching process, the importance of personal development, learning styles, active learning, communication, addressing emotions, creative assignments, and character development. Students will create visual projects and applications for transformational discipleship and leadership

 

#225 Biblical Marriage   (Instr: Professor C. Hunt)    Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.   

This course focuses on how to apply and teach the skills related to self-assessment to discern God’s will for one’s life through spiritual gifts and the spiritual disciplines. Topics include reflecting on your spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personality, experiences, and character development. Students will create visual projects and applications for leadership and spiritual development

 

#228 Church Administration   (Instr: Professor D. Johnson)   Tuesday  7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This course focuses on how to apply the basic principles of leadership and church administration. Topics include relating to people, organizations, self, and colleagues; performing administrative functions; and training servant-leaders for effective ministry. Students will create visual projects and applications for transformational discipleship and leadership.
