THE LORD’S DAY
Encanto recognizes the first day of the week as the Lord’s Day. It is a Christian institution for regular observance. It commemorates the resurrection of Christ from the dead and includes exercises of worship and spiritual devotion, both public and private.
Early Rise Worship
Early Rise Worship is held every Sunday morning (except Easter Sunday) from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. This service is appealing to members who are more experienced and matured, and the message is for building spiritually strong bodies. Music is led by Eleanor White for congregational hymns. Other times individuals, the praise team or the choir will lift their voices in song. Time is set aside for an inspirational reading and announcements. An offering is taken and the sermon is given by Pastor Pope or another minister. From time to time a deacon will deliver the message. At the end of the message, people can join the church, re-dedicate themselves, or ask for prayer.
It is the mission of the Sunday School to educate our children and adults by teaching the word of God through the sharing of bible stories, by providing examples of Christian living on every level, and by encouraging Christian growth and evangelistic outreach in order to win souls for Christ.
Sunday School begins promptly at 9:40 on the church grounds, after a half hour of breakfast and socializing in the fellowship hall. There are classes for every age group from pre-school to youth to adults. From these groups other sub-groups are available: Senior and Junior boys and girls, Adults, Senior Adults, Family, Women and Men. All teachers have been trained in Orientation 101, 201, and 301.

REMEMBER TO INVITE SOMEONE TO SUNDAY SCHOOL
Church Done Differently (CDD)
Church Done Differently is held each Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and is geared towards seekers, new believers, etc., and mature Christians. The message helps the congregation understand who Jesus is and what we are to Him.
At CDD members and guests come as they are. You don’t have to dress up. You may wear casual clothes or a suit. You don’t have to be a certain age, and you don’t have to feel the need to pretend about anything. There is special parking for visitors in the parking lot. Latecomers can quietly come in and an usher will direct them to a seat. The congregation joins together in song and the choir, praise team, or Men of the Word will sing different selections. Time is set aside for the offering, welcome of new visitors, announcements and the thought for the day. After the sermon there is a Time for Decision period where people can join church, ask for prayer, or re-dedicate themselves.
